The funny part is that it's a REAL invention. Someone was so concerned about squishing their infant that instead of doing the sane thing and putting the kid in a bassinet next to the bed (or in a Wendy Bellissimo Moses Basket, which I totally want), they built a cage for it. Just....wow.

What is that thing? At first I thought it was some sort of "Far Side" cartoon or medieval imprisonment device. To my surprise, it's for real!!! What will they think of next?
